(Annapolis), the leader in COTS FPGA Based High Performance Computing, announces its WILDSTAR 4 / 5 Family of Xilinx FPGA Based Processing Boards, using Virtex's newest Virtex 4 and Virtex 5 FPGAs. The WILDSTAR 4 family provides faster performance, more processing power per slot, more efficient power and thermal management, and lower cost per performance. The family will include Industrial, Rugged and Conduction Cooled versions, and use new more powerful backplanes, like PCI-X, PCI Express and VXS.
